Block Blaster

A fun logic puzzle game with 50 levels based on color with varying degrees of difficulty. Like a cross between Tetris and Boulderdash. You need to memorize the block color change pattern and be able to visualize the block fall pattern a few moves ahead to become a master at this.

You can guess the solutions or work them out logically, but you will need to meet every target to earn the elusive rank of 'Block Master'. You start as a 'Newbie' and quickly advance to 'Novice', but gaining the titles of 'Architect', 'Jedi' and many more will prove more difficult.

Click a block to watch it change color and explode nearby blocks. When all the blocks are gone you have passed the level. You will need to reach a number of targets to progress at certain points and for the ultimate title of 'Block Master' you need to beat all the previous levels.

The logic to solve a level involves memorizing the color sequence and also predicting the next moves that become available. Look out foe the indestructible blocks which will block progression. Remember that all the blocks are affected by gravity so being able to use a chess logic to look ahead is really useful.

If a block gets left on it's own then you will lose that level, but you don't have to complete the level once you realize because you can restart the level by sacrificing the life you would have lost in advance. This saves you having to finish a level you know is impossible.

You will need to use logic to meet all the targets to progress. At certain points you will need to have beaten a certain number of levels. For example to progress past level 12 you must have gained 6 purple stars.

The purple stars are shown on the level selector screen so you can tell how many you have won. However these limits don't prevent you moving through all the levels within a section, so if you are finding a level difficult you don't need to finish it. When you come to the final level (50) you will need to have completed all the previous levels as this is what makes you a Block Master.
