This app uses the Microchip MCP2221 IC to communicate with your 8051 MCU. You can use it to program any 8051 basedMCU that has a serial bootloader.
Please note: This app is for serial bootloaders with the Intel HEX format only. Also your device must support USB-OTG.
Also, a Microchip MCP2221 IC is required to establish communication with the MCU, as well as a USB OTG cable to communicate with the android device.
This app currently has a very small built-in set of available MCUs. More MCUs will be added with future updates. However, it allows you to add your own MCUs and commands.
It has been tested with a few variants of 8051 microcontroller.
