This application implements a solution that allows the secure exchange of data with the citizen. The data are modeled in certificates that provide specific information about citizens, and can be presented both physically and digitally. Some examples of such documents can be an individual health card, gym card, library card, youth card...

The data is on the citizen's device, and is stored encrypted allowing full control over it. Users will be the only ones who will be able to use, share or delete these verifiable credentials at any time, with specific permission from the application itself.

The technical mechanism for information exchange sends encrypted and signed data to ensure security. Encryption ensures that the data can only be seen by the citizen and signatures, the origin of the information. The safe transport of data is based on the use of the services of the Basque Government, serving from the European Union and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (DBEO).
