Monster Hunter Now Begins Pre-registration on Android and iOS

Niantic and Capcom's new game, Monster Hunter Now, is scheduled to be released worldwide in September. Pre-registration for the Android and iOS versions of the game has now begun. Similar to Pokémon Go, players will need to search for and capture monsters based on their environment using interactive movement mechanics.

If you're familiar with the original Monster Hunter series, then you probably have an idea of how incredibly popular this game franchise is. Since its debut in 2004, there have been numerous releases and spinoffs that have captivated players on various gaming platforms. In this game, your role as a Hunter revolves around safeguarding your environment from menacing monsters.

In April, it was announced that Monster Hunter Now would be released with a closed beta taking place last month. The game will keep its main gameplay elements intact but will introduce some changes to the mechanics. In each battle, players will have 75 seconds to hunt down the monster using simple one-finger swipe controls for movement and actions, as shown in the gameplay overview.

When the game is released globally, players will have the opportunity to face 13 different monsters including Great Jagras, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos and Diablos. In terms of weaponry options available to you in the game, there are six choices: Sword & Shield; Great Sword; Long Sword; Hammer; Light Bowgun and Bow. Each weapon possesses unique abilities that can be utilized during gameplay.

During the gameplay showcase, Group Hunt was introduced as an exciting feature that allows players to team up and battle monsters together within a 200-meter radius. To participate, all you need to do is find nearby players and invite them to join your group. By clicking on the invitation, you can form a team and take down a single monster in the designated area. Additionally, there's also an option to join hunting parties with friends for even more cooperative gameplay opportunities.

Gamers can now sign up in advance for Monster Hunter Now on their Android and iOS devices by going to the game's pages on the Google Play Store and App Store. Additionally, there is a pre-registration campaign currently underway that offers rewards once certain milestones of global pre-registrations are achieved. • 1,000,000 pre-registrations: Founder Medal and & Wander Pebble x3
• 2,000,000 pre-registrations: Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 and Item Box Expansion +500
