Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has become more exciting with the latest v25.00 patch update which features significant changes in terrain, new weapons, and even Optimus Prime from Transformers. Players can now drive raptors for transportation or climb on canopies to increase their speed and camouflage themselves while sliding through mud. The Thermal DMR allows players to detect attackers hiding in trees; Flapjack Rifle enables shooting while skating on vines; Cybertron Cannon transforms enemies into mere spectators making it easier for gamers to win battles against opponents.
New weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 update
The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 map has undergone significant changes. The island now features a large crater that is home to raptors, plants, mud and vines in the center of the map. Along with this new addition are also fresh weapons and raptors for travel purposes as well as Transformers that have been introduced to make things even more chaotic.
Thermal DMR
Experience the fight from the viewpoint of a wild animal living in the jungle. To get a clearer view of your enemies, activate thermal vision while using Thermal DMR's sight.
Flapjack Rifle
With the Flapjack Rifle, you can attract attention by obliterating enemies and structures. This innovative firearm has a magazine that rotates, causing more than just heads to turn! To obtain the Mythic version of this weapon, you must find it in vaults requiring Keycards.
Kinetic Boomerang
To strike enemies during its flight and on the way back, use the Kinetic Boomerang as a weapon. If you fail to hit your target, you can retrieve the boomerang early and create a small blast for another attempt.
Cybertron Cannon
Although it's okay to let loose and be adventurous, there is a distinction between that and simply enjoying oneself. When on the island, you can use a Cybertron Cannon to shoot off powerful missiles quickly and with great force.
Wildwasp Jar
The Wildwasps, a harmful type of insect found in the jungle, tend to gather around specific plants. You can use them as weapons by throwing them at enemies or capturing them in a container. Along with these new tools, season three will also feature two well-known weapons from previous versions of the game: the Combat SMG and Drum Shotgun.
Map changes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 update
Fortnite season three has brought about some noticeable changes to the island. One of them being a large hole in the center of the map, which is evident from the trailer. Additionally, there is now a Temple POI that seems to have been constructed by Autobots and is concealed within it.
The new jungle habitat has created a lot of dirt around it, but you can use this to your advantage by sliding through it for a quick boost and some helpful disguise. Instead of using the rails from season one, you can now move around the map by climbing up vines. Additionally, if you want to gain an upper hand in battle against your opponents, try fighting from high up in the tree canopy.
New Reality Augments are coming into Fortnite
The new season of the game has introduced fresh Reality Augments, providing additional options for players to customize their gameplay experience according to their preferences.
- Primal Companion: Gain thermal vision and regenerate Health while riding animals.
- Wildwasp Weaponry: Receive some Wildwasp Jars, and gain an additional one with every elimination.
- Sprint Lines: Gain a Slap effect upon using grind vines, grind rails, ziplines, or Ascenders.
- Shell Slide: Gain Shotgun shells while sliding.
- Swift Shotgun Reload: Your Shotguns will reload faster.
- Reckless Rifle Reload: Your Assault Rifles will reload significantly faster when the magazine is empty.
- Medium Ammo Acquired: Instantly gain medium ammo, then gain more when you open containers.
Rideable Raptors are coming to Fortnite for the first time
In the cinematic teaser for Fortnite Chapter Four, Season Three, one of the exciting things to notice is that raptors will be making an appearance. These dinosaurs will provide players with a fresh means of traversing the island.
To ride them, you just need to climb onto their back, position them correctly and tightly grip while they run as fast as possible.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 brings Transformers crossover
The new theme for the third season of Fortnite Chapter Four is called WILDS. Epic has released a cinematic video showing four people observing as the ground on the island crumbles and breaks apart, revealing ancient artifacts hidden below. Amongst overgrown plants and vines, Raptor eggs are hatching while an old temple in the middle holds numerous secrets waiting to be discovered.
The game offers an opportunity for daring explorers to travel through different means like riding, grinding and running towards the temple where they can discover the renowned Transformer Optimus Prime as a result of their collaboration.
