Welcome to Chaikhana, a cozy teahouse for classic narde — long backgammon, also known as nardi, nardy or nard. Play narde online with real opponents or a friend, or play long backgammon offline against the computer, no internet needed. Beat 1000 levels and build your own collection of boards. NARDE ONLINE

• Quick game: an opponent is matched for you.

• Open tables with in-game chip stakes and a move timer of 45, 30 or 15 seconds.

• Play with a friend: a private table with a password — long backgammon for two players, online.

• "Winner Stays" multiplayer table for 3–6 players: the loser drops out, the winner stays at the table.

• Weekend Cup tournament on Saturdays and a shared player rating.

• Watch other players' games and send emojis at the table.

OFFLINE NARDE — NO INTERNET NEEDED

• Narde vs computer: a calm game against an opponent of the right strength — Easy, Medium or Hard. You can undo your move.

• Levels can be played offline too.

1000 LEVELS

• Six chapters — from the teahouse garden to the Khan's garden.

• Special goals: win with a mars, finish within a set number of moves, hold a position.

• Stars for precise play, reward chests and a daily level.

• Game review shows where a stronger move was possible.

COLLECTION

LONG NARDE RULES

• Each player has 15 checkers; all start on the "head" and move around the board to their home.

• Checkers are never hit. A block of six checkers in a row is allowed only if at least one opponent's checker is ahead of it.

• When all your checkers are home, you bear them off; the first to bear off all checkers wins. A mars and a home mars score more points.

• Rules with diagrams are in the in-game help — handy if you are just learning long backgammon.

Narde is available in 12 languages: English, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Azerbaijani, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Georgian, German, Polish, Arabic and Hebrew. It is free to play and offers optional purchases: coin packs. Coins and chips are in-game currency with no monetary value.
