Annotate your photos with voice or text.

PhotoNotate allows you to quickly and easily add comments or notes to your photos so that you can retain memories or context of the situation when the photo was taken. The annotation can be done either via voice or typed as text. When the voice annotation is used, you can save the note/annotation as either text or a video.

In the free version of the app, any photos and videos saved will have a watermark. In-app purchase will remove the watermark in the existing photos (not videos).

Features

-Use the app to take a photo and annotate the photo; If the user wants to annotate at a later time, there is an option to save the photo with the app settings (location, date etc.)

-Use the settings on the app to enable location and date/time settings on the photo; Adjust location of the note and the video format; Choose the default font size

-Pick an existing photo (or upto 5 photos) from the camera roll and add note(s) to it

oIf multiple photos are selected and the note is saved as text, each photo will have the same note

-When the note is saved as text, the user can:

a) Share the photo with the note to the camera roll (the photo with the note is available only in the app unless it is shared)

b) Edit the note

c) Change the position of the note on the photo – top, bottom, right or left

d) Change the font style, size, color, background

-When the note is saved as video, it cannot be edited; it can only be deleted from the iPhone camera roll

-The photos with notes are viewable through the PhotoNotate album and can either be saved to the iPhone camera roll or emailed or SMS-ed; The videos can only be emailed

-The app always creates a copy of the photo so that the original is never altered

-PhotoNotate uses iSpeech voice recognition APIs

-Currently PhotoNotate is only iPhone compatible (iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, 5C, 5S); Support for other platforms is planned for future releases
