Indian Railway Fare Difference Calculator (IRFDC)
IR Fare Difference Calculator (IRFDC) is a tool for Indian Railway Ticket Checking Staff. It makes calculation easy and accurate while upgrading an existing ticket.
Fare table is updated w.e.f. 25/06/2014. We have considered all the rules for ticket up-gradation, as per as Indian Railways guidelines.
All the calculation are based on fare chart provided by Indian Railways. The rail ministry had imposed Swachh Bharat Cess and Krishi Kalyan Cess on its services.
Current version of IRFDC App includes Service tax of 14%, Swachh Bharat Cess of 0.5% and Krishi Kalyan Cess of 0.5% are chareable on 30% of total passenger fare equivalent to 4.50 of total fare.
With the current version of IRFDC, luggage freight is also included. You can check free allowance weight on a group ticket with specified train class. It shows charges on Scale-L.
Service tax of 14%, Swachh Bharat Cess of 0.5% and Krishi Kalyan Cess of 0.5% are chareable on 30% of total freight equivalent to 4.50 of total freight of parcel traffic by rail.
It also upgrade a group ticket, including adult and child tickets.
Now IRFDC also provide option to calculate luggage freight. It uses passenger luggage rates on Scale-L.
It shows free allowable luggage and maximum quantity permitted for selected Class type.
Even it shows free allowable luggage and maximum quantity permitted for a group ticket.
It automatically convert luggage rate (Scale-L) in to for booking and charging.
