Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set two years after a devastating global pandemic. Play as Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter facing a brutal struggle for survival, searching for a reason to live.

At its core, Days Gone is about survivors and what makes them human: desperation, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, regret, love – and hope. It’s about how even when confronted with such enormous tragedy they find a reason to live. Hope never dies.

How the past is first and foremost the undead, who, instead of a brain, have an insatiable stomach, are gladly welcomed by all who turn to the tooth, and drive the survivors of entrenched camps, without any benefits of civilization.

It does not matter how zombies are called in the next post-apocalyptic action movie of yesteryear. The main thing is how we are going to deal with them.

The protagonist of a bygone era, is Deacon of Saint John, he has on the fly changed the tactics of the extermination of zombies: he filled them with newspapers, blew barrels, attracted to the rotten floor and fired on them with weapons. Along the way, the Deacon manifests itself as an invention of the craftsman, to organize himself a muffler from a part of an automobile engine and so on.

A path of a friend leads to bandit camps. And now, the prisoner is released, but the fight seems won. But the way in which the past of the war has just begun. From the nearest forest comes, staggering, hung with barbed wire ends a bear zombie!

Demonstrating the possibilities of daysgone use of the environment came very convincing. But the developers have not been satisfied. On a special panel, we were shown other options to overcome the obstacles encountered by the Deacon.

Changing weather and time of day in the past days game really affects the world. We see that the bandit who has fallen into the trap is waving to the crowd walking zombies walk nearby, and instead of tiptoeing past the bandits camp, no doubt full of wonderful supplies, the daysgone hero is organizing a blood bath for them.

The Zombies are burned in the fire of the Molotov cocktail, the bandits end violently screaming victim to stop the influx of surprise guests from daysgone, and with the survivors, the Deacon is cut by several shots.
