Avow is a FREE app that has been created for ADVO recipients in NSW to better understand and stick to their conditions.
- Addresses any confusion about ADVO conditions, gives examples of how a breach might occur, and makes it clear what the consequences of breaching are
- Allows the user to configure the conditions that the court has issued so that they can be quickly referenced whenever needed
- Gives tools to help manage the causes of breach and prevent it from happening, so that the recipient does not risk getting into further trouble with the police
- Explains the court processes so that the recipient can prepare and know what to expect
- Gives reminders so that important court dates are not missed
- Contains a list of relevant resources and Contacts such as counselling services, legal help, accommodation, crisis support, family services, financial assistance, addiction services, Indigenous services, LGBTQI services, mental wellbeing
Avow is a 'resource in your pocket' that is private to the recipient. It works alongside the court-issued ADVO but allows the user to quickly check their conditions whenever needed.
