🛠️ When a file is damaged A document that refuses to open is not always lost. Mox tries to repair it into a copy, tells you exactly what it had to skip, and never writes over your original.

ABOUT FILE ACCESS Mox asks for permission to access files so it can find the documents already on your phone — in Downloads, in Documents, in folders other apps created — and open them in place. Android does not let an app see another app's documents without it. Mox only reads document files, and nothing is ever uploaded.
