'Messages for BatApps' is an encrypted messaging and default SMS replacement app with the ability to hide specific message threads. It works in conjunction with BatApps to determine what message threads to hide and when to hide them.
BatApps is a profile manager that allows you to hide and reveal a set of protected apps. Now, with the 'Messages for BatApps' companion app, you can also hide specific message threads when your protected profile is deactivated by adding the recipients or senders of messages you'd like hidden to your protected profile contacts list.
When BatApps is active all you message threads will be listed in the conversation list, but when it is deactivated only messages from phone numbers NOT stored in your BatApps profile will be shown.
