Open the app, find the list, tap new note... and by then you have forgotten what you wanted to write. This app lets you write from the widget. You can tick items off from the widget too.

1x1 Quick memo. Tap and the input opens right away.

2x2 Single memo. Tick checkbox items directly on the widget.

4x2 Memo list. Tap any row to open that memo.

Mix paragraphs and checkboxes in one memo

In other memo apps, turning on checkboxes converts the whole note into a to-do list. You cannot have ingredients as checkboxes and the method as paragraphs. Here every line decides for itself.
