Media Remote - Player Control

Media Remote turns your Android phone or tablet into a local media remote for your own Mac or Windows computer. Pair your trusted devices, then control media over the same Wi-Fi or local network.

Use Media Remote to:

- Play or pause video and music

- Skip to the next or previous track

- Raise or lower volume

- Mute and unmute quickly

- Toggle full screen

- Open YouTube, streaming pages, tutorials, and other web links

- Open local video or audio files from selected folders

It is useful for a PC connected to a TV, a Mac connected to speakers, a home theater computer, a projector setup, or a big monitor across the room. Start a YouTube video on the computer from your phone, pause a movie without getting up, or lower the volume when someone calls.

Media Remote does not require a cloud account. Commands stay on your local network, pairing must be approved, requests are encrypted, and permissions can be adjusted for each paired device.
