With the ME ADAPTO method - Amputee Health - you will have several therapeutic tools with a comprehensive and humanized approach from the immediate post-operative period until the moment of prosthesis.

The application has an exercise session that was developed by physiotherapist Soraia Luz, with hospital protocol, pre-prosthetics and after prosthetics.

There is also a session with guided meditations to help adapt to the rehabilitation process.

In the Amputee Health module, the method embraces the biopsychosocial challenges that involve rehabilitating the amputee with an integrative perspective: body, mind and spirit, which are the basis for its main keywords: Adapt, Dedicate, Love, Practice, Transform and Dare.

In the case of traumatic amputations, resulting from an accident, for example, the victim often did not even realize what had happened, so adapting internally and externally to this new condition constitutes a great challenge.

The beginning of the rehabilitation process begins with this structuring, meanings, representations from where and how the amputation occurred, but, mainly, in understanding the changes, not only in the physical challenges, but in the history of this amputation, therefore, their meanings dictate the set of strategies to be structured to face this new life experience.
