Masjid Sync

Masjid Sync turns an Android TV into a permanent prayer time display for your mosque.

Mount a TV in the lobby, the prayer hall or the entrance, install Masjid Sync, and it shows your congregation the times they need — all day, every day, with nothing for anyone to operate.

WHAT IT SHOWS

• All five daily prayers plus sunrise, each with both the adhan time and your own iqamah time

• A large, readable clock and the current date in both Gregorian and Hijri calendars

• Your Jumu'ah times, in their own dedicated panel

• Prayer names in English and Arabic side by side

• Your masjid's name across the display

BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE

This is a fixture, not an app somebody has to tend. Masjid Sync starts automatically when the TV powers on or comes back after an outage, and it keeps the screen awake on its own — so a power cut doesn't end with a blank screen and nobody on site who knows what to do.

UPDATE IT WITHOUT TOUCHING THE TV

Prayer times, iqamah offsets, Jumu'ah times and display settings are managed from your account in a web browser. Changes reach the screen within seconds. Nobody needs to find the remote, and nobody needs to climb up to the TV.

WORKS ON THE TV YOU ALREADY HAVE

Masjid Sync is built to run on inexpensive and older Android TV hardware, including 32-bit devices that many modern apps have dropped support for. A basic set-top box or an entry-level smart TV is enough.

GETTING STARTED

Masjid Sync needs an AthanSync account to pair the display with your mosque's prayer schedule. Install the app on your TV, follow the on-screen pairing steps, and configure your times from the web dashboard.

Masjid Sync is part of AthanSync, which also offers a mobile app for individual worshippers.
