The Earth's magnetic field is a vector quantity; at each point in space it has a strength and a direction. To describe it we need three orthogonal strength components (X, Y, and Z).
X the north component of the magnetic field; X is positive northward
Y the east component of the magnetic field; Y is positive eastward
Z the vertical component of the magnetic field vector; by convention Z is positive downward
F is the total intensity of the magnetic field vector
F = square root (X2 + Y2 + Z2)
Magnet Detector is a powerful tool to detect ferrous metals and magnets.
This application detects and measures magnetic field values using the in-built sensor of your phone.
This application can also detect electrical flux. Hidden live electrical wires weather underground or inside the walls.
Magnetometer Metal Detector measures magnetic field around you by using the magnetic sensor that is built into your smartphone and tablet.
Magnetometer Metal Detector helps you to detect metal objects (steel, iron) around you. When a metal object is near to you, the magnetic field level will increase. Note that gold, silver an copper coins cannot be detected since they are classified as non-ferrous metal and so, they have no magnetic field.
A Gauge helps you to see the magnetic value that is also displayed in textual mode. The magnetic value is presented in µT (Microtesla). A graph shows you also the recent magnetic field activity.
This application is very simple to use:
Just open and the app and start exploring magnetic or electromagnetic fields around you.
