What is the geriatric age?

They are classified into elderly people between 65-75 years and people much older than 75 years, but this purely chronological classification does not define any biological or clinical characteristics of the patient, so it cannot really determine or identify the elderly.

Patients, be they elderly or elderly, all have significant characteristics, that is, they have a variety of physical problems related to functional, social and psychological defects, for which differentiated care is required, and the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team is prioritized.

What is a geriatric checkup?

The examination of the elderly is a comprehensive examination, which includes a series of tests, designed to check the normal functioning of the main organs and systems of animals that have passed a certain age.

At each checkup for the elderly, we will perform a detailed physical examination, complete blood and urine analysis, chest radiology, EKG, and blood pressure monitoring.
