LociSim

LociSim helps you change your GPS location to any place in the world – ideal when using location-based apps. Whether you want to have fun with friends by sharing a false location, or as an app developer need to test location-based features – use LociSim as a GPS location simulator. The app uses Android’s built-in location simulation (Developer options; also known as "Mock Location" or "Fake GPS") and guides you through the setup step by step. No root required, no ads, and you decide whether and how you want to support our app development with a purchase.

Main features

• Location simulation (Fake GPS): In other apps, the simulated location appears as the current location.

• Easy location selection: Tap on the map or enter an address/coordinates.

• Simulate altitude: Retrieve automatically or set manually.

• Favorites: Save frequently used places and load them quickly.

• Multiple map types: Default, Satellite, Terrain, Hybrid. LociSim uses the Google Maps SDK for Android for this.

• Light and dark mode.

• No root: Uses the official Android feature for simulated locations ("Mock Location").

How it works

1. Enable Developer options.

2. Set LociSim as the mock location app.

3. Choose a location in LociSim and start the simulation.

The app guides you through the setup step by step.

Privacy & Permissions

• No ads

• Optional location permission: Only to display your real position on the map.

• On Android 13+, the notification permission is required so the app can show a persistent notification while location simulation is active.

Support / Purchase

You can voluntarily support the development of LociSim (one-time or as a subscription). The choice is yours – the app remains ad-free.
