LMS Faculty App — Campus LMS for your institute

LMS Faculty App is the official mobile companion for Campus LMS (campusapp.in). It is built for authorized institute staff—faculty members who teach and manage academic work, and drivers who support safe, accountable transport operations. Sign in with your institute credentials to access the tools your school has enabled for your role.

FOR FACULTY — TEACH AND MANAGE ON THE GO

Stay connected to your classes and academic workflows without being tied to a desktop. From the faculty dashboard you can work with institute context such as institute ID and academic year, so actions stay aligned with your campus records.

Upload and organize learning materials through the LMS so students can access content your institute approves. Create and manage exams with support for online and offline exam flows where configured. Add structured exam questions when your workflow requires it, with selections that respect your class, stream, subject, and academic context.

Manage curriculum building blocks your institute uses—such as packages, levels, concepts, and instructions—so teaching plans stay consistent and traceable in the LMS.

FOR ATTENDANCE — STAFF AND STUDENTS

Record your own staff attendance with punch-in and punch-out style flows when your institute uses staff attendance on Campus LMS.

For student attendance, load rosters, apply attendance for the selected date, and review monthly views so you can see patterns across the month. The app is designed to work with the same session and academic identifiers you already use elsewhere in the LMS, reducing mismatches between screens.

FOR DRIVERS — ACCOUNTABILITY AND VISIBILITY

Drivers get a dedicated dashboard tailored to transport responsibilities. When enabled by your institute and after you grant the required permissions, the app can send periodic location updates to the Campus LMS driver tracking endpoint so dispatch and administrators can see movement aligned with institute policy.

When you receive a push notification, the app can also send a one-time “current location” update (distinct from periodic tracking) so your institute can correlate alerts with where the vehicle or driver device was at that moment—subject to permissions, device settings, and notification payload behavior on Android.

Location features may use foreground services and background location where permitted, because continuous tracking is sensitive by design. You can pause tracking when the app provides that control, and you should follow your institute’s transport and device-use policies at all times.

NOTIFICATIONS AND DEVICE IDENTIFICATION

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging so your institute can send operational alerts when configured. During sign-in, the app may send a push token and a device identifier to the LMS login flow so notifications can be routed to the correct handset while reducing duplicate or unknown devices.

Your institute’s administrators remain responsible for how notifications are used, how often they are sent, and what messages contain. You can manage notification permissions in Android settings.

SECURITY, PRIVACY, AND DATA HANDLING

Authentication and academic actions communicate with Campus LMS APIs over HTTPS. Session details needed to keep you signed in are stored on your device so you are not forced to log in on every cold start. Sensitive profile fields displayed in the app originate from your institute’s LMS records; treat your phone like any work device—use screen lock, avoid sharing credentials, and sign out on shared phones.

File uploads you initiate are transmitted to your institute’s LMS endpoints. Only upload content you are permitted to share under institute policy and applicable law.
