Measure the light in your work environment
The app will be discontinued and removed from the App Store/Google Play on February 20. This means that it will no longer be updated or available for download after this date. If you have the app installed, it may work during a transition period, but we cannot guarantee continued functionality. Measure light with your mobile phone by using the Swedish Work Environment Authority's app Light. With the app, you can measure daylight and electric light as well as flicker.
The app has nine different typical workplaces entered, such as offices, workshops and storage rooms. Poor lighting at work, such as low brightness or glare, affects your well-being and ability to work. This can lead to you working in incorrect working positions and affect your mood, as well as making you tired and irritated.
App content
- A light evaluator that roughly calculates the lux value.
- An assessment of whether the light is at the level of recommended values for nine different typical workplaces.
- A function that calculates the frequency and modulation of any flicker.
