Application for diagnosis of the zootechnical index of dairy herds
Embrapa Rondônia and the Federal Institute of Rondônia (Ifro) developed an application to assist in the productive diagnosis of dairy farms. It diagnoses the zootechnical efficiency of dairy farming quickly, simply and intuitively. The user will only need the internet to download it, as all functionality is available in offline mode.
In just one visit, in the time necessary for the technician to evaluate all the cows in the herd, it is already possible to obtain a productive diagnosis of the herd. In addition, the tool meets the needs of most milk production systems in Brazil.
+ Leite allows any herd, with a minimum number of records (date of birth or lactation stage and body condition score), to be evaluated and compared with its own reality over time, or with other properties. To make this possible, the researchers developed mathematical models and productive indexes that have an impact on productivity and can assess the use of the potential of the property.
