Kauntified works on the concepts of counters and each counter represents a certain activity, event or habit that you’d like to keep a track of – you can create as many counters as you like. To give you the best of the app and its advantages, we analyzed hundreds of scenarios and came up with 4 types of counters to keep all your tracking needs categorized. These are:
Numeric counters can be used when you want to keep track of something that has a value. In other words, if there’s a real life situation that can have a number linked to it, that’s exactly when your numeric counters come into play. For example: your monthly expenses, the number of coffees you drink in a week or month, weight you’ve lost or put on, etc. Remember, for a numeric counter, you’ll simply have to enter a number against a particular happening.
Event counters are pretty awesome! They help you keep a track of an actual event without asking you for a number. In other words, event counters are just like numerical counters, without numerical values attached to them. Event examples are: the dates you’ve gone out on in a month, the movies you went out to watch, the new people you’ve met, etc. All of these can be categorized under respective event counters and updated each and every time a picked event occurs.
Distance counters are ideal for when you want to keep track of distance covered and time taken. For example, if you love riding your bike, turn on your distance counter and it’ll calculate for you the distance covered and time taken. And when all of this data is aggregated over a period of a week/month/year, you’ll know how much distance you covered and how much time you took, helping you set new goals for yourself or simply avoid traffic! Distance counters can also be applied for train journeys, daily runs, cycling, walks, etc.
Time counters are best employed when time is the most important element you want to keep a track of. For example, if you want to keep track of how long your kids are playing video games or how much time you spend on a break from work; a time counter can keep track of just that.
Interestingly, Kuantified works on the principles of targets – so you can set a target for a certain counter and work towards achieving that target. For example: a goal weight or a certain distance to run every day. Additionally, Kuantified also sets reminders for you. Knowing that it’s easy to forget to keep track of things, optional reminders can be set for the counters you create – this can be done on a daily or weekly basis. As soon as you start updating your counters and enough data is built, Kauntified will showcase your information in the form of tables and graphs. Imagine how encouraging it would be to see the data on the number of miles you ran, the goal weight you achieved, the number of hours you worked… the list can go on! And if you’re worried about losing your phone and what may happen to all the counters you’ve got going on – fret not! Kauntified, very advantageously, saves a backup of all your data on secure servers, which means you can restore your data as soon as you get a new phone and also export data in raw formats if you’re looking to use gathered information elsewhere!
So get right to it – get kuantified!
