Zendemic is an application platform intended to provide a set of services more commonly provided by large internet service companies, without requiring the large internet service company.

For example you can store your personal data for free in the cloud, but the price you pay for that free service is the ability of the service provider to do what they want with your personal data.

The purpose of Zendemic is to allow everybody to use their own equipment either as their own personal cloud, or share it to be part of a larger peer to peer based cloud that isn't owned or controlled by anybody.
