TrackDrop is a lightweight, open-source utility designed to bridge the gap between route planning websites and your favorite navigation or sports apps.
Planning a route on Komoot or RideWithGPS but want to navigate it using Organic Maps, or send it to your cycling computer? TrackDrop grabs the route data and instantly passes it directly to your preferred app. No files to save, no folders to dig through, no copy-pasting - just a seamless transfer where the track magically appears in your destination app, ready to use.
🚀 KEY FEATURES
✨ Seamless App Integration
Skip the cables and cloud uploads. TrackDrop uses Android's native sharing system to send routes directly to your installed apps. It is tested and works flawlessly with major navigation apps like Organic Maps, CoMaps, and OsmAnd, as well as major sports apps like Garmin Connect, Wahoo, iGPSPORT Ride, and others. Virtually any app that supports route sharing and is registered in Android will work!
💻 Computer to Phone Push
Found a route on your computer? TrackDrop comes with a companion browser extension that lets you instantly push a track from your Computer browser directly to your phone. A notification pops up on your phone with the track ready to be sent to your app of choice!
🔄 Multi-Provider Support
Currently supports fetching tracks from:
• Komoot (requires a shared link with a share token)
• RideWithGPS (supports both public and private routes via privacy codes)
*The app is built with an extensible architecture, meaning more providers can be added in the future!*
🪶 Lightweight & Native
Built entirely with native Kotlin, TrackDrop is incredibly fast, uses minimal battery, and takes up less than 2MB of space on your phone. No bloated web frameworks, no unnecessary background services.
🔒 Privacy-First
TrackDrop does not require an account and does not track you. The core app connects to the internet only to fetch the tracks. The optional PC push feature uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to route links directly to your specific device, and no personal data is ever stored on a server.
HOW TO USE:
1. Open a route on Komoot or RideWithGPS. Tap "Share" on the track you want.
2. A share sheet is shown - tap on TrackDrop
3. TrackDrop opens, fetches the track, and shows a list of supported maps and sports apps.
3. Tap on the app you want to drop your track into it.
HOW TO USE PC PUSH:
1. Download the TrackDrop browser extension (link in the GitHub repo).
2. Tap "Pair with PC Browser" in the app to get a 6-digit code.
3. Enter the code in the browser extension.
4. Click the extension icon on any route page to instantly send it to your phone!
TrackDrop is 100% free, open-source, and ad-free. If you find it useful, consider supporting the developer by visiting the GitHub repository!
