Consent is about people's understanding and willingness to participate in your study and not about signing a form.

Prospective participants in your research study must understand the purpose, the procedures, the potential risks and benefits of their involvement, and their alternatives to participation.

eSignature at Registration

At admissions, Rits shade e-signature automates the generation of documents that need to be signed by analyzing patient information sent from the registration system via intranet connection.

Rits e-signature are selected and grouped based on pre-defined logic and imprinted with patient-specific demographic information.

The eForms are then displayed on a secondary monitor making it easy for patients to read and understand the forms they are required to sign. Patients apply their signature on a signing

device similar to those found at retail store checkout stations. The signature is displayed on the shade eForm in realtime, giving the patient confidence that their consent is being properly recorded.
