This app is the server in a distributed client server program which logs the locations of your phone in "location files". All "location files" are saved on Google Drive connected to your Google account.

The BigBrother app (which is the client) reads the "location files" in real time and transforms these in to "tracks" which are displayed on Google Maps. The BigBrother app can be run on any phone as long as it is granted access to your Google Account.

It possible for you to specify (via the Settings menu)

- how often location updates should occur (i.e. the sampling frequency)

- how many locations to "batch up" (i.e. pending locations) before writing to Google Drive

- whether to have high or low location accuracy.

All these options are aiming at minimizing the "battery consumption".

To start a logging session, turn the switch at the main page on.

Note that "power savings" must be disabled to allow for this app to "produce" as accurate locations as possible.

Also note that the Exit option (in the Settings menu) has to be selected to terminate this app completely.

It is possible to change settings at any time without interrupting the logging process.

To fully appreciate this app you should also install the BigBrother app, where you can follow the changes in real time of the "tracks" created by this app (under Settings/Tracks).
