Drawing and painting can be a really relaxing activity and so you can be soaked up to keep you busy for hours! If you have a natural talent for sketching, it will soon become clear to you. If not, it does not matter. You will still learn to draw well enough to create a very nice doodle in your notebook, or to beautify your scrapbook page with interesting pictures and designs, if you will. You can read art books that will show you how to glance at the things you want to sketch, and how best to know the dimensions and angles. The more you sketch, the better you become, just like anything else in life. When you learn how to draw step by step, maybe the best teacher is your own eyes.
And keep in mind, delete any images you have finished or learned so that the object you draw is only in the memory.
