This Car Protection app locates your car and displays it on your phone if it ever gets stolen/snatched by using any spare smartphone placed in your car...

Features of Car Protection :

- Shows Car in google maps with distance and directions to it.

- Interval and distance of the car can be changed.

- Beeps/Shows notification if car is moved a specified distance after a specified interval on your personal smartphone.(Only for Lock/Unlock)

-Also Stores the route of the car if it is locked and moved specified distance after specified interval.

How ?

Firstly you need 2 smartphones , one likely your daily personal smartphone and another spare smartphone to be placed in the car.

Install this application in your personal smartphone and in a spare smartphone.

Personal Smartphone Settings : (This phone will be with you)

1.Open Settings.

2.Add number of spare smartphone (with countrycode). Then Press send sms.

3.You will recieve a unique code on your spare smartphone , write that code in the unique id.

4.Choose sound / Notification if you wish to remain alert if the car is locked and it is moved a specified distance .

Spare Smartphone Settings : (This phone will be placed in the car)

1. Open Settings.

2. Add number of personal smartphone (with country code).

3. Press Save.

Now whenever you will press Lock My Car option in car protection app on your personal smartphone , then your personal smartphone will send a Lock message to your spare smartphone placed in the car. Your spare smartphone will track after each interval if it has moved a specified distance. If it moves (likely stolen/snatched) then a sms will be send to your personal smartphone and it will play siren sound and show a notification. Also your car will be shown on the map by pressing the map option.

By pressing the Unlock My Car option, tracking will be stopped by your spare smartphone.

A new option ‘ Where’s my car’ will tell you the location of the car by sending a message to your spare smartphone placed in the car. Your spare smartphone will send 1 sms having the coordinates of your car to your personal smartphone which will then be visible on the map. Your car is not continuously tracked.

It is recommended that you should have a sms package activated on your spare smartphone placed in the car.

For Slow phones(ANR Issue) :

If you experience Application not responding dialog while opening maps, then please open google maps manually.Then again open Car Protection and click on maps.

*GPS Interval : GPS interval is the number of seconds(multiplied by 5) of how long the GPS turns on when the car is being located. If it is higher then battery usage will be high else if it is low then car might be difficult to locate by the GPS.
