Camera Detector

Introduction:

This Camera Detector App lets you find or locate any nearby hidden cameras in your surroundings. Camera Detector analyses the magnetic activity around the device by using your phone's Magnetometer sensor and if the magnetic readings matches with that of a camera's magnetic field the app will generate an alarm.

Note: It can also beep on metals because they also have a magnetic field. Camera detector and locator app can also Detect Hidden Camera by its Infrared Camera Detection feature. You can get further guidance in the App's How to Use section.

Usage:

Move your phone in your surroundings. The App will beep if a Camera is found nearby. If the app is showing a Camera or speaker in an area check the area manually for any Hidden Cameras.

Note:

The Camera detector uses magnetic field to detect objects. The readings may vary due to the sensor quality. Metals can also cause the app to beep, as they also have their magnetic field.

Important: If the reading is stuck, try shaking your phone to re-calibrate the sensor (making an 8 digit shape)

Radiation Sensor:

Our Camera Detector and Locator App's radiation sensor also helps you find or detect hidden cameras around you. It only beeps when the magnetic readings match with that of a camera's usual magnetic field. The magnetic sensor's readings are shown on a real-time graph and an alert is generated when a device or camera is detected.

Infrared Camera Detector:

Another way can be detecting Infrared Cameras by using camera detector's IR Camera detection feature. You can spot any hidden cameras around you by using this feature of the app. Just open the Infrared Camera Detector and scan for any hidden camera device, if you see white light which cannot be seen with a naked eye, there might be an Infrared Camera.

Note: We know that this can also be done through your phone's default camera but our camera detector and Locator App offers a luminescence effect so that the white light could be more prominent and you can easily detect and locate hidden cameras.

Note: If app shows error about camera or crashes, please close any other app that is using camera.

Important:

You must have magnetometer sensor in your device/phone to use "Detect Camera by Radiation Sensor" feature of Camera Detector. If you don't have that sensor, you can still use our "Infrared camera detector" feature.

- Internet (to fetch ads)

- Camera (for Detecting Infrared Cameras)
