And among its contents discussing the meaning of faith in language according to Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih Al 'Utsaimin is a confession that gives birth to an attitude of acceptance and submission. He said this meaning matches the meaning of faith in terms of shari'ah. And he criticized people who interpret faith in language as just heart justification (tashdiq) without any elements of acceptance and submission. The word 'faith' is common fi'il (a verb that does not need an object), while tashdiq is fi'il muta'addi (needs an object) (See Syarh Arba'in, p. 34)
