Media education made easy. With parental controls you can actively set rules together with your child. All settings can be easily controlled remotely via a user-friendly parent portal. To ensure that your child is protected on the Internet and does not come into contact with inappropriate content, our parental control app protects your child with an extensive online web filter.

What can the Kidgonet child protection app do:

- Screen time regulation: Reliable and cross-device screen time measurement. As soon as the monitor is on, the time starts. No matter whether online or offline.

- Age-appropriate web filter: Browser-independent web filter that grows with the child and adapts to the child's age.

- Overview of all apps: Parents get an overview of all apps installed on the child's device.

- Share apps: Music apps, learning apps, etc. can be shared in the parent portal during screen break.

- Add extra time: If your child spontaneously needs a few minutes more online time, e.g. For example, if you want to finish a game, you can do this quickly and easily in the quick overview in the parent portal.

This app uses the accessibility service. The operating aids are needed to support your child and to protect the child and youth protection app from attempts at manipulation. No data is collected via this service.

This app uses the device administrator permission.

Accessibility Service

For the app to function properly, Kidgonet uses the Accessibility API for the following actions:

- To find out the foreground app.

- To find out the foreground activity.

- Show overlay if necessary.

- Track settings if necessary.

To inform the user about using the Accessibility API, several texts will be displayed in the app if the user needs to allow this permission.

VPN service

The app uses the VPN service because it is a child and youth protection app.

The app is installed by parents.

To protect children, the content of the website is checked and, if the content is not age-appropriate, the page is blocked and the Kidgonet warning page is displayed.

Internet traffic is also blocked if the online time allowed by the parents is exceeded. No personal information is collected through the Service.
