Built for the Banin diaspora community in the UK, this app digitises two trusted financial instruments your community has used for years — the Savings & Loans Group and the Njangi Rotating Pot — giving every member instant visibility into their personal balances, loan history, and dividend earnings.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View your personal savings balance and full transaction history

• Track your Njangi pot — which round you're in, your scheduled payout, and how many rounds have been paid

• See community-wide statistics: total savings pool, active loans, and njangi progress

• Receive push notifications for new contributions, loan updates, and payouts

• Securely log in with your registered email and password

SAVINGS & LOANS GROUP

Members of the Banin Savings & Loans Group can see their running balance updated after every confirmed contribution, review year-by-year deposit history, track any outstanding loans with full repayment schedules, and view their proportional share of the annual dividend.

NJANGI ROTATING POT

The Banin Njangi operates a rotating pot where each member takes a turn receiving the full collection. The app shows your scheduled payout date, the number of units you hold, and the current status of each round — so you always know where you stand.

YEAR-BY-YEAR COMMUNITY VIEW

Use the year selector on the Home screen to explore community totals for any year since the group started. See how much has been saved, how much is out in loans, and how many njangi rounds have been completed.

SECURITY

Your account is protected with industry-standard JWT authentication and bcrypt password hashing. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. No financial transactions are initiated through the app — it is a read and request tool only.
