Kallakurichi (Tamil: கள்ளக்குறிச்சி மாவட்டம்) is one of the 33rd district which belong to Tamil Nadu state situated on the southern tip of India. The district headquarters is located at Kallakurichi .

Kallakurichi is a town in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the administrative headquarters of Kallakurichi district. As of 2015, the town had a population of 57,628.

Kallakurichi district came into existence on 8 January 2019 when it was carved out of Villupuram district, which was then the largest district in the state before bifurcation.
