KAKSHYA is an effort to connect donors/volunteers with various non-profit organizations. With growing awareness for various social causes as evident by the popularity of Satyamev Jayate, there is a need for providing a user friendly channel for people to become a part of initiatives that interest them.

So, we targeted the current most accessible mode of communication, Cellular Phones.The application is an encyclopaedia of NGOs containing relevant information. The application has various tools for the user to get to know the non-profit organization better such as call, email, website visit. Also the users can see the locality of the organization on a live map.

There is always a shortage of volunteers and funds for various social causes/initiatives. Through Kakshya we provide them the platform to advertise their initiatives and developments to a huge crowd at once and for free.
