A boy has to get to school. Sounds easy. Except that between him and the classroom lie grasslands, a desert, a cave, an ice world and a volcano – and every world ends with a boss.
School Run is a jump and run platformer for quick sessions: play offline, no internet, no account, one-finger controls.
HOW IT PLAYS
The boy runs on his own. You only control the jump: tap for a hop, hold for a full jump, tap twice for a double jump. Hold on the ground to duck – in the air it makes you drop faster. Easy to learn, hard to master.
FIVE WORLDS, FIVE BOSSES
Slime King, Scorpion Queen, Stone Golem, Ice Yeti and finally the Fire Dragon. Every boss has its own arsenal: volleys, ground slams, jump attacks, projectile storms. They are only vulnerable when they come down low – that's when the head jump counts.
SUPERPOWERS
Collect diamonds and the boy grows wings to flap as often as you like. Find a fireball along the way and you can shoot for a short time: enemies vanish and boss projectiles burst in mid-air. While a power is active, the music changes.
BUILT TO BE FAIR
Two checkpoints per world, so one mistake never costs you a whole stretch. Every course is generated so that each jump is possible and you never have to jump and duck at the same time. If you die, you restart at the last flag – with the score you had there.
MADE FOR QUICK BREAKS
• Offline game: no Wi-Fi, no sign-in, no always-online
• Your progress stays on your device
• Stars per world and high scores to beat
• Music, sound effects, screen shake and vibration can each be switched off
• Free to play
For everyone who loves platformers, retro jump 'n' run games and arcade action – on the train, in the waiting room or during recess.
Have fun on the longest way to school in the world!
