Ride Zero is a music shooting game developed by LoadComplete, featuring characters from Cruelty's Battle and a new storyline. Players will challenge the rhythm game to which the shooting game elements are added.
The game is basically an rhythm action game. You attack by clicking on the bullets shoot at you when they reach your shield. Your shield actually cannot break but not repelling the bullets at the enemies won't attack but you can take damage depending on the attack.
Players in the end are ranked from C to SSS in every stage they finish. The score depends on the damage you take, the maximum combos, and the time it takes.
Every character has a Trust Level, their own special ability and story. You can level up their trust the more you play with that character. The Trust feature is a special skill which helps out with the rhythms and battles, also known as specials in competitive. For example, Sera gives resistance, Cano gives extra damage boost to enemies,
There are four difficulties; Easy, Normal, Hard, or Extreme. The higher the difficulty setting, the more frantically bullets will appear and the more aggressive the enemy pattern is.
Unlike the original Crusaders Quest where it was a F2P MMO, this one is a retail like Project Re:Link (which was a 3D hero action RPG with Cygames) and Puzzle and Dragons Z where the player is allowed to try as many strategies as they like. Similar to how DLC worked in Deemo, there would later be packs adding more songs and content.
There are four modes:
Arcade Mode: Compete against the other playable characters and then at last defeat HeliosX!
Story Mode: Find out how each of the heroes got their way to Helios.
Duel Mode: Fight against other players!
Survival Mode: Aim to get as far as you can!
