This can be used to plan safety of the family members proactively giving peace of mind. Close friends can share their location conveniently without disrupting the other ones with calls. Companies can use this service to optimize operations by locating employees like drivers, sales representatives, field engineers and so on.
With the MTN Where R U app for Android you do not need to type the service SMS commands and can pick up phone numbers directly from your address book.
SMS sent by the app are charged. Consent is automatically asked from the located party.
