Over the past 110 years, the Antelope Valley has evolved from a farming community to one of the premier aviation research and development sites in the nation and a hub for many national manufacturing companies and retail distribution centers. Lancaster was a prosperous community in the late 1890s, and local businessmen began to recognize a need to join forces to promote their town and protect local businesses. On November 17th, 1902, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce was formed to fill this need. The business community now serves a greater Antelope Valley region population of more than 480,000 people. As the Antelope Valley continues to develop and thrive, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce continues to evolve to meet the needs of its members and our growing community. The Lancaster Chamber offers a variety of benefits to help businesses, large and small, to network and grow their businesses. The Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix, the Antelope Valley Fair, our Halloween “BooLVD” event, the Magical BLVD Christmas event, Bark at the Park, the California Poppy Festival, Celebrate America, the Chamber’s semi-annual flea market, and the Antelope Valley Fair, Christmas, and Veteran’s parades are just a few of the highlights that we proudly offer in our community . If you are looking to get out of town for the weekend, one can hop in the car and either visit Los Angeles or a ski resort within an hour and a half!
