This application is your friend in need. Whenever your feel unsafe on you are in any danger just shake the device and a message with your current location will be sent to your friends. All you need to do is add your friends in the emergency list and press activate button. Your phone will keep sending message on every location update until you deactivate it by yourself. The deactivation is pretty easy, you just need to got to the app and press the deactivate button.

The GPS is required to be enabled for getting best possible location.
