Reading English Newspaper can help us improve our reading ability, learn more

vocabulary and let us know what has happened in the world. We can read

newspaper via the methods below:

a. Turn to the front page. Read the headlines to know what has happened,

because the most important things are put on the front page.

b. Choose the first five articles that attract you. Then read the first two to three of

them.

c. If you want to read more, you can turn to other columns, such as sport. Then

choose the top five articles, read their title and the first paragraph. We can use

these methods to reduce the time we read the newspapers meanwhile keep us

informed of important events.

and less important to your interest or need.

c. Before reading the articles, read the headline of each article first to choose five

articles which interest you.

d. Just read each article its first and second paragraph which will provide you

general ideas about the event you’re reading.

vocabulary and learn more things to write. But we need to know how to read

newspaper well if it’s going to turn out an advantage to us. First, make the

newspaper thinner. This means just read the headline, the topic of the article,

then find the interesting sections that you like. Second, browse every article you

like just one or two paragraphs. Read no more than five articles. You can

understand what it is talking about and you don’t want to waste your time, right?

Third, read more about the article you like by reading the information containing

“when”, “where”, “what”, “who”, and “how”. That will help you read quickly. The

last one, don’t be afraid of new words. You can understand what it means in the

context.

read every title about the article and choose five articles which you are interested

in. Constantly read newspapers everyday. That will help you increase your

vocabulary. Remember words through context and frequently expose yourself to

these words. Once they appear several times, you will remember them easily. You

read more, you can write better essays because your knowledge is adequate to

provide interesting ideas to talk about. Shortly, reading English newspaper will not

only upgrade your language ability but also become more knowledgeable.
