App BooksClub allows individual users to upload their books either for sale and rent. The other users can order the books for rent/sale through the App if their wallet balance is adequate to cover the cost of book (+ courier charge) or deposit of book (+ courier charge + one week rent). A user may make an offer price to the owner less than the asking price. This is communicated by the BooksClub Administrator to the owner by email and if he accepts the offer price, a courier pick up is arranged.

The books are organised in the following sections: Children, Exams, Fiction, Health, Management, Regional Language, Money, Non-Fiction, Spiritual, Sports, Textbooks, Women and Others. These are further categorised in a total number of 108 Book shelves. One can either browse all the available books through Shelves in individual Sections or search for a book by giving the Book Title and/or the Book Author.

There is an absolute privacy and anonymity of the owner of the books. The App at not point reveals the identity of the owner to other users. The owners identity and contact is only available to the BooksClub Administrator.

The request to purchase, rent or return is sent through an email to the Administrator of BooksClub . The Administrator arranges for the courier pick-up and drop of the books. At present this will be done in India alone.

Once the book is delivered to the customer the amount of funds are either blocked (in case of Rent) or deducted (in case of purchase) from the Wallet. The owner's wallet is also credited with the book price or book rent.

The process of uploading your books is quite simple. The cover page of the book is captured from the Camera or Gallery, and details of Book Name, Book Author(s), Asking Price, Deposit and Rent are entered. It is optional to enter the Book name or Author but if they are not entered, the book will not be available through the search facility.
