OpenSpace works like a phone, but replaces phone numbers by hashtags.

You can call any hashtag you want, or receive calls to any hashtag you want.

You can also receive calls to your "Google Account" (no one else can), or call someone's account.

OpenSpace is a live, intangible, traceless social network, powered by "Google Play", that will search for, find, and connect you to people who are looking for the same hashtag.

It protects your privacy because your hashtags are "hashcoded" (which means turning an intelligible text to a meaningless number). Therefore, "Google Play" can connect you to other people looking for the same hashcode, without knowing why you want to get connected.

OpenSpace is intangible and traceless because, unlike other social networks, nothing is stored about who you are, what you do, what you want, what you like, or anything else. Of course Google Play will know WHO you contacted, but not WHY.

Although your friends are always able to call you with OpenSpace, that's the "communicator" side. On the contrary, the "social network" side is "live", because you only exist when searching for someone who's matching your hashcode. Stop searching and the only things left on the "cloud" are some meaningless hashcodes.

OpenSpace lets you find other users based on any search criteria you can think of. There are predefined criteria, and you can customize all of them, but you can also call other users just because they are nearby.

Communicator:

See your contact in almost real-time, thanks to a low-res video connection.

Talk to your contact by holding the "Phone" icon down. This works more like a walkie-talkie than a phone, because only one can speak while the other is listening.

Type instant messages: each keystroke is transmitted instantaneously, and these typed messages are encrypted.

Handwrite text with your finger or a stylus. This is much more personal because your handwriting is unique.

Draw anything on your screen or on the picture that you just sent.

Share a picture from your gallery, so that it appears on BOTH SCREENS simultaneously.

Share any file from your device. As long as it's smaller than 5 MB you can send it to your contact's "download" folder.
