Motocross is a motocross race held on a closed off-road circuit. Motocross first evolved in the United Kingdom, such as the first quarterly test of the 1906 Cycling Club and the six-day Scottish test that started in 1909. Professional competitions were held almost exclusively in professional baseball and football fields, despite a race at one of the island's major circuits (the Daytona International Speedway), which separated the pit lane from the track.
