if you call someone every hour just to see that he is ok.

if you are worried about beloved person and want to know that he is physically active during the day.

if you want to know if someone during his sleep is moving from time to time, just to be sure that he is not unconscious.

this application monitors the phone's motion to track activity. if no physical activity detected by the app during a predefined period of time (e.g. no activity in the last 2 hours), the app will alert the user by vibration and then by audio tone. if still no motion detected and the user submitted phone number in the settings, then SMS message will be sent.

panic button, medical bracelet or any other life alert device may be too late for a person who cannot move due to unconsciousness or any other emergency condition.

I developed this app for my own use. I have type one diabetic son and I looked for an app that can monitor if he is active and will alert if he is not, during the night or during school.

My greatest fear is severe hypoglycemia during his sleep or falling unconscious at school and I thought to myself that a motion detection app (of activity tracking app) can be an answer for that need.
