Basilica in Basilica

La ricostruzione di un enorme tempio costruito su uno piccolo.

This project is my second reconstruction, made for interactive visualization, providing interactivity in my projects. It was made with increased interior detailing. Here is presented not only the basilica itself, but the attached complex. Reconstruction shows an early version of the temple. An external (non-physical) free camera has been added. One of two reconstructions in which a balance between system requirements and picture quality is found, thanks to the capabilities of earlier versions of Unity3D. Before importing to Unity, an attempt was made to optimize its geometry in the open Blender editor. The textures here do not correspond to the real materials of which the buildings in Chersonesos were built. To illuminate the scenes, several classic point light sources are used, whose shadows are baked in surface textures, to increase compatibility with cross-platform compilation, and low computational power of the target systems. It has built-in simplified help on the board, hidden logo, elementary graphics settings and image quality, as well as three cross-platform options.
