Every page of text is attractively illustrated at the rate of one for roughly every paragraph of text—a ratio that print textbooks cannot begin to match—and packed with information to bring the concepts alive. Students are offered a number of ways to interact with the material to maximize learning. Students have frequent opportunities to check their comprehension of the material. A robust set of supplementary materials (including test banks) is provided to the instructor on adoption.
