This app helps delegates involved in the In4.0 Access course to quickly and easily identify key locations. Open the app, point your device camera at the 2D map and 3D buildings will appear showing nearby car parks, public transport and entrances to meeting venues.
This app was developed as a collaboration between In4.0 Access and Visioning Lab to demonstrate the potential of using innovative and emerging technologies to enhance existing work practices. The 2D maps are useful for identifying the meeting locations in themselves. When viewed in 3D, the additional insight into building entrances, floors and other features helps delegates orient themselves more effectively, saving time and stress.
