Android Application to help people in emergency situations called MES .

The project is an Android Application to help people in emergency situations that called MES (management of emergency situations). The aim of this project is to build an application to run on an android platform which can provide timely help to people who have an emergency situation such as a medical emergency, an attack by unidentified people where, if a person feels a serious need for assistance they can contact anyone and request the help from them. The idea of the app is that there are two ways that can be followed by the user. These are if the person faces a critical condition the user can call for assistance by pressing on the red button that appears on the home screen, the application will send a message to all the contacts that have been added previously in the app. It will also make a recorded emergency call to the contact that has been selected previously. The second way the app is designed is if the person has an emergency situation, but not urgent, then user can enter the app and choose the contact who they have registered to help them, to send their location. A study was conducted on the core issues of safety for the patient to gain views of educators, physicians, practitioners of highly experienced emergency medical service and administrators. It points out Emergency Medical Services (EMS) do not manage well with the increasing demand from the health sector. Therefore, there is need to change EMS education to improve skills of stronger clinical decision making. The android application is written in Java language that considered an operating system that is based on the Linux 2.6 kernel. The app will be tested by using many real Android phones that use GPS on phones and communicate on the Wi-Fi by clients.
