IQ Kids - Brain Training for Children (Logic, Memory, Auditory Processing, Reaction, Motor Coordination, Visual Spatial Perception)

From the IQ Improvement Institute team, we welcome you to IQ Kids, which includes 6 brain training games to train several fundamental cognitive skills in young children:

BRAIN TRAINING FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

We designed IQ Kids based on the input from cognitive development researcher as well as the feedback from kids themselves. This way we hope to have achieved the right balance between training the brain of young children and providing them a fun experience.

Today scientists agree that certain brain stimulation can stimulate cognitive development, and that this kind of stimulation is especially important at young age. Also, it is evident that digital media and especially games can play a positive role in cognitive development. Based on this we develop our brain training for children. That said, we still do not have conclusive evidence yet of the specific cognitive enhancement by the IQ Kids brain training. However, our team is conducting research into which kind of brain games are best to stimulate which cognitive skills.

COGNITIVE SKILLS TRAINED

Each game within IQ Kids is made to train a specific cognitive skills. Here is a list of our games and the cognitive skill trained.

VISUAL PERCEPTION - Ship Shapes

You child has to sort figures into the the right containers based on color, shape and size.

AUDITORY PROCESSING - Humming Birds

Your child has to experiment with and identify differences in pitch made by singing birds.

MOTOR COORDINATION - Hungry Squids

Your child has to feed the hungry squids with balls of different color.

ATTENTION - Hide & Seek

Your child has to keep track of a runner that is hiding in spaceships.

MEMORY - Frog Family

Your child has to remember the path that is frog is jumping.

NUMERICAL - Shipyard

Your child has to use numerical skills in order to help aliens build spaceships.

OUR TEAM

The IQ Kids team is part of the IQ Improvement Institute and is composed of PhDs and experts in childhood education, game designers and game developers. In addition, we work with the brightest minds in the fields of child psychology and developmental neuroscience, that are advising us.
